• Pastor Denham came from a broken home where his father deserted him at age five along with his three brothers.

• Pastor Denham lettered four years in baseball, basketball, and football.

• Pastor Denham was "Born Again" in 1965 and received the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" in 1972.

Background Information:

Our guest speaker for our August 12th Dinner Meeting is Dr. Fred Denham. Pastor Denham was the pastor for the foundation and development of The Abundant Life Church in Charleston, SC. Pastor Denham came from a broken home where his father deserted him and his three brothers at age five.

Fred's passion growing up was sports where he lettered four years in baseball, basketball, and football. He also won the small town championship in tennis!

Fred responded to the LORD in an Oral Roberts Crusade but it wasn't until August 17th, 1965 that he was truly "Born Again!" In 1971, Fred received the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" with full fledged Tongues in 1972.
